Block of the Month with Pat Stone. These are blocks 9-12 in our series of four block session. Dates as stated. This class is suitable for students with some sewing skills. The blocks will be 12.1/2”
If you like a challenge then this is the class for you. In this series of blocks, 9,10,11 and 12 you will be covering more intricate techniques. Cut and recut, foundation paper piecing, stained glass and creating a bespoke design. Patterns will be provided.
The blocks can be standalone or combined with previous blocks to make a quilt sampler.
REQUIREMENTS- One jelly roll. One and half metres of plain(or co-ordinating fabric not too patterned). This will be enough to complete all the blocks (up to 3 x 4 block sessions) Small quantities of bondweb and stitch n tear, half metre of each should be sufficient.
Thread to stitch.
- Instructions will be provided.
- The blocks you make can be made up into a variety of projects. Quilts, bags runner, mats, cushions . The blocks can be stand alone or combined in a project.

- Students Basic tool requirement list - sewing machine with cable, extension table, darning /free machining/walking/zigzag feet, sewing kit, too include scissors, needles, pins and a tape measure. Paper scissors, paper, pencil, ruler, rotary cutter and mat, quilting ruler (all available to purchase in store in advance of the class if required)
• Full payment of £60 is required at the time of booking
• Cancellations Policy. Classes can be re-booked if cancelled with at least 7 days notice (50% with 2 days notice) With less than 48 hours, classes can only be re-booked if Just Sew Simple are able to re-book the class.
