Join Midland Camera House and Canon for a spine-chilling photographic adventure through the enigmatic streets of York. Led by WA State Sales Representative, Rebecca Robbins, and expert Midland Camera House staff, we'll delve into the realm of the supernatural, aiming to capture eerie shots of historic haunted sites. But fear not, skeptics, for there's plenty to photograph beyond the paranormal.
Whether you're drawn to the allure of capturing the intricate architecture bathed in low light or envisioning the Milky Way casting its glow over ancient tombstones, there's something for everyone.
For the early risers, a morning landscape shoot from Mount Brown awaits on Sunday. From this elevated vantage point, we'll witness the gradual illumination of York townsite, capturing the play of long shadows and the warm hues of dawn.
Our lodgings for the expedition? None other than the haunted Castle Hotel, established in 1853 and boasting the title of the oldest inland hotel in Western Australia. With its two-storey Georgian-style architecture and sweeping verandahs overlooking the main street, it exudes the charm and ambience of a bygone era.
As partners, Canon will provide a range of cutting-edge mirrorless cameras and lenses for participants to utilise. Expect in-depth explanations, engaging presentations, and hands-on assistance from both Canon representatives and the knowledgeable Midland Camera House team.
Prepare your gear, brace yourself for the unknown, and join us for an unforgettable journey through the mysterious heart of York.
