NO SPACES REMAIN FOR THIS PROGRAMDr. Brad Carlson (Biology Dept., Wabash College) will demonstrate how radiotracking is used in research and then allow participants to track some of the box turtles that have been a part of the long range study of these charismatic reptiles in the Allee Memorial Woods (a property owned by Wabash College in Montgomery Co.). The history and ecology of this 200 acre old growth forest will also be shared on this off-trail hike, as we search for some of its resident turtles!
**Program is limited to 15 participants. Registration required by noon October 7, call 765-567-2993 or email [email protected] (responding on Facebook does not reserve your spot).**
Program content is designed for adults, but school-aged children may attend and enjoy depending on their attention span and interest. For more information, call Tippecanoe County Naturalist Mary Cutler at 765-567-2993
