Young authors and illustrators will spend the week learning to create unique characters and develop interesting storylines, alongside a published book illustrator. On day one, campers will make their own sketchbook, which will be used throughout the week to record their story and illustrations. Exercising the imagination, campers will development both drawing and writing skills and learn how to build a short story from start to finish.
✎Monday-Friday, June 10-14 @ 9:00am - 12:00pm
✎Designed for youth 9 to 13 (age of child at time of camp)
✎Campers should come with a snack and drink each day.

Summer camps at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum are run by experienced instructors with a small teacher/student ratio that provides a unique and a high-quality program you won't find just anywhere! Our campers will explore a variety of mediums as they create multiple art projects coordinating with the week's super fun theme.
REGISTRATION: Current OMAM members may sign up their children/grandchildren now. Registration for non-members will start at 10am Friday, 2/23!
TUITION: $135 for museum members and $150 for future members. Spots are filled on a first-come, first served basis so don't wait to register!
SCHOLARSHIPS: Thanks to a generous donation by local artist Pamela Bleakney, each camp has two free scholarship spots. Parents receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) are eligible to apply for this 100% tuition assistance, To start the scholarship application process, please email [email protected].
REFUNDS: Requests for refunds must be made in writing two weeks prior to the start of a session. You will be issued a refund, minus a $15 processing fee. No refunds are issued after that time.
