Full Supervisor Training Part 2 - Skills Training Workshop (2 days), provided in person at UNSW Kensington campusAbout this Event
- Two day workshop encompassing lecture, demonstration and role play of key skills in competency based supervision
- Builds on information provided in part one online training
- Walks participants through the supervision process including understanding the competency model of supervision, preparation of a supervision contract, components of effective supervision including the provision of effective feedback, dealing with supervision problems and termination of the supervision process.
- Preparation for the evaluation process (Part 3)
- NOTE: All those attending the Part 2 training must already have completed their Part 1 Supervisor Training (online Knowledge Assessment training run by any PsyBA approved providers)
The workshop is presented in person at the UNSW Kensington campus (location TBA). Please note that coffee/lunch is NOT provided, though there are many facilities on campus for caffeine and caloric intake. We may need to move to online (zoom) presentation if the situation arises that it is necessary to do so, or cancel/reschedule if we do not meet minimum number of participants. We will endeavour to let all registered participants know as soon as is feasible if a situation were to occur.
