Full Supermoon and Bat Exploration Hike

It’s not just a full moon this month, but a supermoon, a time when the moon is closest to Earth and appears larger and brighter. During this hike we will be heading to the highest point in Lyonia Preserve to see the moon rise. We will also be using an Echo Meter to see what bat species may be flying around us. Registration is required and limited. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes, and be prepared to hike on sugar sand trails. Flashlights are highly encouraged. This program is intended for ages 12 and up.
