Another month has arrived on us .. and April's Fool Moon 😄 just kidding is actually known as The Pink Moon due to it's orbit is furthest away from Earth, and will be a bit smaller than most giving off a pinkish hue... interesting! We will launch from the Causeway prior to 7:00, so meet up by 6:45. We'll paddle out to Hurricane Pass, low tide will set in and we should be able to reach the Gulf and land on Caladesi Island! The moon will simultaneously rise as the sun sets, and the incoming tide will take us back to The Sandbar safely, and it's best way to experience twilight paddling!
We'll hang out at The Sandbar and view the moon rise and amazing Gulf sunset afterglow, then paddle back to the Causeway should be an awesome Friday evening!
Approximately 3 miles round trip 1.5 hours on and off the water!
