Join me as we harness the energy of the full moon in Gemini
An evening of grounding and releasing through Yin yoga practice while gently transmuting any feelings of worry and anxiety, creating a flow of chi throughout the meridians.
Yin flow is intertwined with sound and oils followed by a meditation to connect to the energy of the Gemini full moon, finishing with a deeply relaxing sound bowl bath.
Vinyasa, Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga are considered ‘Yang’ yoga, the asanas are practiced often in a consistent flow with active postures and are usually no longer than 3-5 breaths per asana, therefore the style of yoga considered ‘opposite’ to this, to compliment a Yang practice or yang energy would be Yin yoga, the postures are passive and asanas are generally held for up to 5 minutes, creating an opportunity for reflection, inward observation and ‘stillness’ in our body, mind and breath.
Yin yoga is a soft, yielding and nourishing practice which invites us to slow down, observe and listen to our bodies in a relaxing and nurturing space. This class is suitable for all levels of practice. Come in comfortable, warm unrestrictive clothes, with an open heart and mind, ready to surrender to yourself.
