Dearest Sisters and BrothersThe Moon in November is also known as the Freezing Moon, (Mshkawji Giizis) in the Ojibwe nation. It is the time when the Star Nation is closest to us. As every creature prepares for the coming fasting grounds, we are reminded to slow down and prepare ourselves for our spiritual path by learning the sacred teachings and songs that will sustain us in the coming months.
The Full Moon embodies a moment of power, where you may take in this energy, giving you the opportunity to bring change and transformation into your life. Being in Ceremony is a way to do this, to sift through your thoughts and feelings, to clearly see your intentions.
