The Shambhala Sadhana is written in clear, modern language, and is a potent practice for awakening our inherent wisdom, compassion, confidence and strength!
The Shambhala Sadhana is a way to strengthen and celebrate our understanding of basic goodness and enlightened society. On or near the full moon, we gather together to practice the Shambhala Sadhana as a group meditation practice.

Sadhana practice is one of the key "skillful methods" of Vajrayana Buddhism, as it involves means and methods for accumulating merit and wisdom, the two essential elements for practitioners to progress on the path towards enlightenment. The Shambhala Sadhana is written in clear, modern language, and is a potent practice for transforming the mind of fear into loving trust in our inherent awake and sane qualities! The sadhana involves periods of silent meditation, chanting (in English), mantra recitation, and visualization practice. For those joining by Skype, the text will be provided so you can via it on the screen while we're practicing.
Practicing the sadhana is an opportunity for us to connect, practice together, and experience the essence of the Shambhala meditation path: basic goodness and the vision of enlightened society personally.
