Join us for an evening of meditation, reflection and connection under the full moon!
About this Event

Join us in private woodlands at Rushcliffe Country Park to celebrate the full moon in March!

The Full Moon in March is also known as the Worm Moon (as it is often around this time that the ground becomes soft enough for worms to emerge).

The event will include:

  • A guided full moon meditation in the woodlands
  • A space for guided journaling and/or verbal sharing with the group in our circle on themes relating to the full moon
  • A cosy campfire (weather permitting)
  • A cup of freshly foraged seasonal tea
  • A mindful wander through the woods and park to a spot where we should be able to see the full moon.

Please bring with you:

  • Warm clothes (it will be dark, and therefore quite chilly, especially in the woods)
  • A head torch / light (one with a red light setting is best, to maintain night vision however a white light is fine too)
  • A mug (to enjoy some freshly foraged herbal tea)
  • A notebook and pen (for journaling)
  • Something comfortable to sit on for the meditation (yoga mat or camping chair is ideal)

The full moon is a beautiful opportunity to reflect on the past month and set our intentions for the coming lunar cycle, as well as simply a reminder to relax, ground into our connection to nature and honour its rhythms and give ourselves time and space to simply be.

This event is also part of our 'Wild Women in the Woods' series. These events are designed to give women a chance to experience nature together in a supportive, relaxed and enjoyable setting, and will generally take place during weekday evenings. These events are all about connection: connection to ourselves, to each other and to nature. All these events are also stand alone events, and you do not need to attend the whole series. The events are open to all women.

The event will be led by Poppy, an experienced Forest Therapy Practitioner, Women's Circle Facilitator, Meditation Guide, DarkSky Advocate and all-round nature and wellbeing enthusiast.

Moonrise time: 18:03

Meridian Passing (highest point): 00:39

Please note that the car park will be closed for entry at 6pm, but free on street parking is available just outside the car park and along Mere Way, by the park.

We will meet near the visitor centre. Full information will be sent to all attendees two days prior to the event.

Please see FAQs below for more information, or drop me a message at [email protected].
