Join us for our Full Moon Guided Meditation & Sound Bath, where you will be guided into a state of resting, ready to receive and release.
About this Event

Join Peggy McElwain and Rachel Shelton as we experience the Full Thunder or Buck Moon from 7:00-8:15 pm on Friday, July 23rd in The Grove at Four Mile Historic Park located at 715 S. Forest St, Denver, CO 80246.

Through our Full Moon Guided Meditation and Sound Bath, you will be guided into a state of resting, ready to receive the sounds of the quartz singing bowls, chimes, shakers and drums and guided oral meditation. We will explore what can be cleansed and released from our hearts, minds and spirit and make room for the new on every level! The instruments will help to create a sonic environment that envelopes an energy - one that breathes with you, lives with you, and perhaps guides you. This practice allows the self to slow, be patient, and trust the sounds to bring you to a place of resting peace. There is no wrong way to experience a sound bath and meditation, you are only asked to invite the sound and its energy into your space, and into your heart. You will awaken to the bright moonlight of the strong, powerful energy!

About the Full Moon in July

July Full Moon is often called the Buck Moon because it is normally the month when the new antlers of buck deer push out of their foreheads in coatings of velvety fur. It was also often called the Full Thunder Moon, for the reason that thunderstorms are most frequent during this time. Another name for this month’s Moon was the Full Hay Moon.

These methods focus on subtle energy allowing healing to occur on all levels – spiritual, emotional, physical and mental as guided by the relationship between healer and client. She uses these modalities in her sessions to assist clients in releasing what is no longer needed for them and to connect them to the life force energy of the universe. She enjoys helping clients to come into relationship with their highest selves.

Please bring your own mat, blanket, water and an eye pillow. Plan to arrive 5 min early and enter through the education entrance located at the East end of the parking lot (not through Grant Hall building)
