About this Event
Experience the transformative healing of breathwork, a practice steeped in ancient wisdom and supported by modern science. Across cultures, the breath has long been revered as the essence of life—referred to as chi or prana—a vital force uniting body, mind, and spirit. Rooted in traditions spanning millennia, breathwork practices from ancient India and China emphasize breath as a pathway to balance and vitality, the foundation of life.
It is said that the one who can control the breath can control the mind.
In today's fast-paced world, a lot of us have a difficulty sheltering the brain from overstimulation and rumination, leaving us with very little mental capacity to navigate life's challenges. Learning how to control our breath as a way to achieve nervous system regulation becomes essential for the health of our body and mind.
In this session, participants will embark on a journey within, guided by the rhythmic flow of breath to release emotional blocks, stored emotions and tension from the physical body, creating space for deep healing and recharging to occur. Through conscious breathing, you’ll engage the parasympathetic nervous system, which can lower stress hormones like cortisol, reducing blood pressure, and enhancing heart rate variability—all essential for optimal health, well-being and emotional balance.
Benefits of Breathwork:
- Reduce Stress and Anxiety
- Improve Emotional Resilience
- Boost Physical Health
- Enhance Creativity and Intuition
- Balance Body and Mind
- Promote Spiritual Connection
More than a relaxation tool, breathwork is a gateway to self-discovery, creativity, and healing. The heightened internal awareness fosters clarity, intuition, and the ability to process and release unprocessed emotions.
Join us to align with the energy of the full moon, embrace ancient practices, and awaken your body’s innate capacity for healing.
The session is open to all levels, and prior experience with breathwork is not necessary. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or new to this practice, it is aimed to support you in your journey toward self-cultivation and transformation. All we ask is that you come willing and open to participate in this journey of deep self-exploration with us.
Discover how breathwork can open new pathways to well-being, purpose, and a profound sense of harmony.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to get settled as we will start 5:30 pm sharp.

The dojo offers a large mat and friendly community to help facilitate the many practitioners who have grown to call the Center home. Over the years, the dojo has become affiliated with the Aikikai Hombu Dojo, run by the Ueshiba Family, through the association with the California Aikido Association Division Two under Michael Friedl Shihan.
