Hi, I'm Meg AKA The Dungaree Doula, I'm an experienced, 5* rated holistic doula and hypnobirthing teacher. Do you want me join me and other local pregnant couples to prepare for birth and beyond?
We will gather for 2 consequetive Saturdays in July to deep dive into everything you want to know about birth and your babe.
Deets:
Saturday 20th & 27th July from 10am-2.30pm
@ Hull Yoga Studio, Princes Ave, HU5 3RX - there is on street parking or a metered car park just across the road
Lunch is included on both days alongside snacks and drinks throughout the sessions
£185 includes admission for 2 (yourself and your birth partner, whoever this may be - partner, mum, doula etc) you can choose to either pay in full of reserve your spot with a £50 deposit (full payment must be made at least 3 days before the course start date)
Upon booking you will be emailed a booking form for more info on who is attending, your circumstances and any allergies or dietry requirements (all catered for)
On the course we will cover:
How birth works: what to expect, the science behind birth, your birth mindset, releasing fear, exploring ideas around birth, the hormones involved
Creating a labour toolbox: Affirmations, breathing, visualisation, movement, accupressure & counter pressure, wrapping, positioning and movement, your birth bag
Birth rights: Environment & birth place, birth partner role, quantifying risk, decision making tools, pain relief, variations of the norm, intervention, induction & caesarean
Postpartum preparation: Womb to World transition, the golden hour after birth, your placenta, colostrum harvesting, preparing to breastfeed, safe sleep, babywearing, postnatal recovery, postnatal planning, finding your own parenting rhythm
