Not the usual round bun, this mantou workshop includea both technique of making round buns and the ‘Lotus leaf’ bun which we normally eat with Kong Bak (braised meat). Fear not if you don’t eat Kong Bak because they go well with anything! From Kaya to Nutella or even plain on its own!
Workshop covers:
- Golden ratio recipe of making healthy and adorable steamed buns
- Preparation of dough using machine & hand-kneading
- How to colour the dough with natural food colourings
- How to create super cute character buns with the unique modelling techniques
- How to achieve smooth and shiny bun surface
- Various ways to judge fermentation
- Steaming method- Tips on how to store and re-heat of the buns

**Remarks:
- Workshop will start on time. Duration of workshop may vary instead of the stipulated timing due to rate of yeast fermentation.
- Only photography is allowed during the class. Videography is prohibited.
