About this Event
Fulbright DAI program brings international primary and secondary teachers to the United States to engage in professional development, pursue individual or group projects, observe local classrooms, and share their expertise with U.S. colleagues. Currently Warner hosts 23 Fulbright DAI teachers from Bangladesh, Botswana, Brazil, Finland, Greece, India, Indonesia, Israel, Mexico, Morocco, the Philippines, Senegal, U.K , Taiwan, and Uganda.
As part of International Education Week (IEW), these visiting teachers will present a Fulbright Cultural and Educational Exhibition, displaying diverse cultural and educational artifacts such as teaching apps, brochures, photographs, books, postcards, traditional fabrics, jewelry, artworks, dance, and more. Additionally, participants will share digital presentations of their national education systems. Furthermore, the event will feature interactive games and conversations that will enhance intercultural awareness among Warner Community members (and the broader UR Community), facilitate discussions with Fulbright teachers, and promote internationalization at the university. The event provides a valuable opportunity to discuss cultural and pedagogical intersections among global educators.
This proposed IEW Fulbright Teacher Exhibition is led by two Warner faculty members who oversee the program.
