Fugitive Landscapes is an immersive, site-specific experience exploring the aesthetics, brilliance, and resilience of Detroit’s shifting terrain—emergent ecological spaces, community, and evolving environment narratives. Through music, movement, art, sound and culture, this event reclaims and reimagines a post-residential, semi-wild site where human and natural forces co-create a new reality. It is a celebration of adaptation, honoring the land’s endurance and resistance, and the creative possibilities that emerge from deeply rooted systems, organic, and synthetic intelligence.
