Part of the Giant Liverpool with LJMU: Research into Science seminar seriesFollowing on from our sell out book launch of ‘Myths of Sport Performance’ edited by Dr Amy Whitehead and Jenny Coe (https://www.sequoia-books.com/catalog/sport/) Giant Liverpool have teamed up with LJMU staff and PhD students to offer a series of seminars looking into Sport Science.
How does your training look today, tomorrow and the day after? Is the intensity and duration the same each day? Training demands change and are also different to competition demands, which has a direct impact on how we should fuel our body, meal by meal.
In this first Giant Liverpool seminar series, Dan will take you through the fundamentals of nutritional periodisation to help you get the most out of your training and competitions, with practical advice based upon the scientific studies that have been conducted over the past two decades.
So get yourself a drink from the wonderful team at Arts Bar Baltic, and get the inside scoop on fueling for cycling training and competition.
Entry is free, but make sure to secure your place via the following link.
