The Fuel & Fit Pitch Competition is a unique platform designed to empower local entrepreneurs and established businesses in the wellness and food access sectors. This year, the competition is open to 24 businesses from Washington, D.C., and Maryland, aiming to showcase innovative solutions that address food access, health and wellness challenges within the community.

This event will foster collaboration among passionate leaders and stakeholders while encouraging local investment and community engagement. Supported by JP Morgan Chase, the competition promises not only to uplift businesses but also to strengthen the wellness landscape in the region.

What to Expect:

1. Pitching Competition: Up to 24 businesses will be selected to present their ideas to a panel of qualified judges. Each pitch will last for 5 minutes followed by a Q&A session, allowing judges to delve deeper into the business concepts presented.

2. Networking Session: Attendees will have the chance to network with other entrepreneurs, industry experts, and potential investors, creating opportunities for collaboration and partnerships which can benefit their businesses.

3.Expert Evaluation and Feedback: Participants will benefit from constructive feedback from judges, providing them with insights that can refine their business models, enhance their pitches, and improve overall operations.

4.Consultation Opportunities: Each selected business will receive a 1-hour consultation session with a business expert from JP Morgan Chase. This tailored guidance will focus on strategy, growth, and operational effectiveness, benefiting entrepreneurs in their journey.

5. Prizes for Top Participants

The top three businesses will be awarded cash prizes to support their ventures:

- 1st Place: $2,500

- 2nd Place: $1,500

- 3rd Place: $1,000

6. Eligibility Requirements:

- Open to established businesses in the wellness and food access sectors based in Washington, D.C. or Maryland.

- Aspiring entrepreneurs or business owner with viable business concepts within these sectors are encouraged to apply.

How to Participate

- Interested businesses must register by April 18, 2025, to secure their spot in the competition.

- Selected businesses will be notified by April 25, 2025.

- Detailed submission guidelines will be provided upon registration.
