About this Event
“Fucking Trans Women, An Oral History” is a reading and conversation of and around Mira Bellwether’s landmark zine, “Fucking Trans Women #0.” Bellwether’s 2010 zine is a critical document of both the practicalities of sex for transgender women and the politics of transfeminine sexuality. Mira Bellwether passed in 2022, and a decade later, this work and the topic of transgender sexuality in general demands consideration in a critical time.
This conversation will feature: educator and writer Badly Licked Bear; performance artist Sheree Rose; artist, writer, and cultural organizer Irina Contreras; BDSM educator midnight mayhem, singer and performance artist Dorian Wood; performance and visual artist Page Person; and author and sex worker Tiana Marie.
