About this Event
USDA's Farm Service Agency (FSA) makes and guarantees loans and provides credit counseling and supervision to farmers and ranchers who are temporarily unable to obtain private, commercial credit. These may be beginning farmers who can't qualify for conventional loans because of insufficient net worth, or established farmers who have suffered financial setbacks from natural disasters. Loans may be used to purchase farm land, equipment, livestock or for annual operating expenses.
Durring this workshop, we will learn about all the loan programs that FSA offers, what a Farm Number is and how to get one, and walk through a mock FSA loan application. If you are currently working on an application or are thinking about it, this workshop is the best place to ask all your questions!
Everyone needs financial help sometime. Perhaps FSA can help you with loan programs and services to meet your farming needs and help you to qualify for commercial credit.
