Calling all Gorebridge folk with fruit trees in your garden. The Community Gardeners are hosting a workshop with Chris Macefield of The Orchard Project on Sunday 9th March, 1 till 3. Chris will be showing us how to prune our fruit trees and all necessary aftercare like mulching and staking.
You' re invited to come along, bring your pruners and secateurs and Chris will also sharpen them for you.
Please let us know if you'd like to come. The workshop will definitely run, even if the weather's not great. Dress accordingly!
We'll be having light refreshments in the Beacon afterwards and you'll have a chance to chat with Chris and the gardeners.
We hope to see some of you there.
