On March 22nd, Old City Cemetery will host TWO workshops for fruit tree lovers and aspiring orchardist! First at 10am, Gardener and OCC Volunteer Mike LeChance demonstrates proper pruning techniques for fruit trees. The class will begin in the Reading Room downstairs and then transition outdoors for hands-on practice with our apple trees. Then at 1pm, Orchardist John Hoskins will lead a fun and informative class on the why and how of apple tree Grafting. Guests will leave with a grafted tree or two, and a grafting tool. These workshops are sold separately, but a small discount is offered to guests wishing to attend both!Check back for the ticket link on Monday, Jan. 20!
