About this Event
Fruit/Seed/Bear - In-Development Animation Screening and Talkback
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I am writing to invite you to come view Fruit/Seed/Bear, an in-progress animation that depicts experiences of queer family-making, the interpersonal, emotional, and logistical layers of donating sperm to friends, and DIY ways of becoming pregnant.
The animation combines interviews and conversations with Oren, Kerri, and Brett, and considers each of our perspectives, roles and relationships (as friends, as a couple, and a ‘sperm donor’), as we go through the experience of attempting to conceive.
This event will be a chance to gather, offer snacks, screen the video, ask questions, and hear input that will help with the final version of the animation.
The space has a capacity of 50 people, so please RSVP in advance if you want to ensure space/confirm spots in childcare. Otherwise we welcome drop by’s!
