Come join us at Fringe Records NYC for Fruit Basket's QUEER MOVIE CLUB! This month, we’re screening the groundbreaking 1999 stand-up film Margaret Cho’s I'm the One That I Want—a bold, hilarious, and deeply personal performance that cemented Cho as an LGBTQ+ icon.
Filmed live at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco, I'm the One That I Want captures Cho at her most unfiltered, delivering a powerhouse performance that dives into Hollywood’s racism, body image, queer identity, and personal struggles—all with her signature wit and unapologetic humor.
