Singing: Monday, November 17, 2025 | 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Young Elsa and Young Anna | 8:00 p.m.- all others
Prepare a selection; Guild accompanist is provided; bring music for accompanist if not singing from the score; no acapella please.
Dancing: Tuesday, November 18, 2025 | 7:30 p.m. - Be Prompt! Dance for those 16 – adults (dress to dance; combinations are taught; ballet & musical theatre styles).
Readings for Acting: Wednesday, November 19, 2025 | 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m Young Elsa and Young Anna | 8:00 p.m. - all others

The Charleston Light Opera Guild will present Disney's Frozen at the Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences of WV's Maier Performance Hall on weekends February 6 -15, 2026.
AVAILABLE ROLES
(Not in order of role size, all sing, large cast)
Young Anna – suggested audition age 7-10; young princess filled with a lot of light, energy & love
Young Elsa – suggested audition age 10-13; young princess with magical powers; next in line for throne
Anna – 18-20s; optimistic extrovert; warm and determined; strong singer with great comic timing;G3-A5
Elsa – 20-30s; future Queen of Arendelle & Anna’s older sister born with magical powers; isolates from others out of fear of her powers; dynamic singer; sings Let It Go
King Agnarr – 30-45; warm-hearted leader of Arendelle; a protective father
Queen Iduna – 30-45; righteous and kind queen; communicates with the Hidden Folk of the Mountains
Kristoff – 20-early 30s; hardworking ice harvester; tough exterior; a loner with reindeer friend; G2-A3
Bulda – plays 30-50s; female mystical leader of the Hidden Folk; guide to Kristoff since he was young
Paddie – plays 30-50s; male mystical leader of the Hidden Folk; guide to Kristoff since he was young
Hans – 20s-early 30s; ambitious prince; charming façade that fools everyone; strong singer A2-G3
Sven – reindeer of few words; loyal to Kristoff; puppeteer/movement based performer; A3-A4
Weselton – 30s-60s; visiting duke with lots of influence; overbearing; hobnobs with royalty
Oaken – 20s-60s; cheerful and convivial salesperson at store & spa; devotee to all things cozy
Olaf – male 18-60s; magical snowman created by Anna and Elsa when they were young; actor/puppeteer who brings Olaf to life making us think he’s real
