Auditions will consist of three phases:
- Please prepare a short monologue between 1-2 minutes
-Singing: 16-32 bars of a Broadway-style song that best shows off your vocal style and strengths. Piano accompanist will be available; Tracks accepted. Please bring connectivity cable.
-Movement: Be prepared to learn and perform a musical theatre dance routine.
THE ROLE OF KRISTOFF HAS BEEN CAST. ALL OTHER ROLES ARE OPEN
ELSA: next in line for the throne and has been born with magical powers that can overwhelm her when she becomes afraid and harm others if not handled with care. (Vocal range: F#3 to D5)
ANNA: filled with a tremendous amount of light, energy, and love. She is a hopelessly optimistic extrovert at all ages. (Vocal range: G3 to D5)
HANS: the ambitious Prince of the Southern Isles and overlooked thirteenth son of a king. Hans constantly strives to find a way to make good and stand out. (Vocal range: G2 to B3)
OLAF: the magical snowman created by Anna and Elsa when they were young. Olaf is endearingly delighted by everything - especially the idea of summer. (Vocal range: F#2 to D4)
SVEN: a reindeer of few words who is a fiercely loyal pal to Kristoff.
PABBIE: one of the mystical leaders of the Hidden Folk who has a soft spot for "strays."
BULDA: one of the mystical leaders of the Hidden Folk who has a soft spot for "strays."
WESELTON: a visiting duke who possesses a huge inferiority complex. (Vocal range: F#2 to D4)
BISHOP: the bishop who officiates the coronation and passing of the crown to Elsa.
KING AGNARR: the warm-hearted ruler of Arendelle who is committed to protecting both his family and the Townspeople from his eldest daughter's powers.
QUEEN IDUNA: she possesses a sense of rightness and kindness that guides her in her protection of her two young girls.
OAKEN: an exceedingly cheerful and convivial wandering salesperson.
YOUNG ELSA: the younger version of Elsa. (Vocal range: C#5 to A3)
YOUNG ANNA: the younger version of Anna. (Vocal range: G3 to D5)
ENSEMBLE: townspeople, hidden folk, snow dancers, and other various other roles. Tapping a plus.
REHEARSALS begin Friday, April 18, 2025 PERFORMANCES: May 16-18, 2025
