The San Diego Master Chorale is partnering with The Robert Frost Society, San Diego Public Library and Library Foundation SD to present the FROSTIANA: Lecture Performance on Saturday, October 19 at 2:00 pm.This event commemorates the Sesquicentennial of the birth of beloved American poet Robert Frost and will feature a reading of four of his poems set to music in a choral composition titled Frostiana by American composer Randall Thompson.
Each reading will be followed by a performance by members of the San Diego Master Chorale of the Thompson settings, and Executive Director Robert Bernard Hass of the Robert Frost Society will add discussion and commentary. The event includes a question and answer session for the audience.
This event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 1:30 pm for seating.
