On Sunday 24th November it’s Wigan’s turn to get it’s annual dose of yuletide spirit. The Christmas markets and funfair kick off the day’s festivities on Standishgate. From here, we move to Mesnes Park for the start of the much-loved Santa parade, where Santa himself will lead the procession of community groups and performers as they make their way to the town centre. There will be live music all afternoon from the main stage, culminating in the Christmas light switch on.
