Entry breakdown: $35 lineage and expenses, $25 handicap series prize fund, $50 match games prize fund.
Match play pay ratio 1:4, series prize fund pay ratio 1:6.
Bowlers will bowl one game on their assigned pair of lanes, then move according to the skip procedure based on starting position. There will be 6 bowlers on a pair. High handicap score receives 5 points, second highest 3 points, third highest 1 point. Low three scores receive zero points. Ties will split points e.g. a tie for 1st and 2nd would each receive 4 points.
Entry fee covers two prize funds: match games main event and handicap series. The winner of the match games prize fund will be the bowler with the most points at the end of 6 games. Ties for any positions in points will be broken by total pins. The winner of the handicap series prize fund will be the bowler with the high 6 game handicap score. Ties for any positions will be broken by high qualifying game.
If there is a blind on the pair, handicap score to beat is 210. Game 1 lane assignments will be random draw. Skip procedure will be announced at tournament.
Handicap is 90% of 220 with max handicap 30 pins per game or a 186 minimum average. Bowlers with lower averages will enter at 186.
Averages to be used:
High of 2023-24 or 2024-25 winter or summer book averages of 21 games or more, if none
Current average verified with league sheet, if none,
Scratch at 220
Tournament directors reserve the right to rerate any bowlers. Maximum field of 84.
