UCL Research Ethics Committee Inaugural Conference
About this Event

The Universities UK concordat for research integrity recognises the important role that institutions play in fostering and sustaining environments that support the pursuit of ethically responsible research and academic agendas as a public good. At UCL, the strategic vision of the Research Ethics Committee is to promote the highest standards of ethics and integrity across the breadth, depth and diversity of disciplinary expertise in research, innovation and academic practice to deliver transformative impact for the long-term benefit of humanity. The concept and meanings of ‘ethics’ are debated, contested and varied. It is therefore vital that discussions in this burgeoning area provoke careful consideration and debate.
