Take on the much-loved Frome Running Festival and run 5km, 10km, a Half Marathon in support of Dorothy House Hospice Care.After a year of huge success, the Frome Running Festival will return with our partners, Run For Charity. All courses will start and finish at the Old Showfield grounds, Frome’s biggest open green space. Plus we are excited to share that the organisers are bringing the family fun run so everyone can get involved!
The race will take you through the town’s picturesque historic centre with roads closed throughout, as well as plenty of support from the community of Frome and its surrounding villages.
There are two ways of registering to take part: a Dorothy House Bond Place or an Independent Place.
DOROTHY HOUSE BOND PLACES
We have Dorothy House places up for grabs, which are available on a first come, first served basis. All runners who sign up for our Bond Place will receive a bespoke ‘Frome’ Running vest or t-shirt, designed by our friends at H2 Creative, to wear on the day.
FLASH SALE – First 20 Early Bird places are available for free! We just ask that you raise sponsorship in support of the Hospice as a thank you.
As a target, we ask 5k runners to raise £100, 10k participants to raise £150 and half marathon entries to raise £200 for Dorothy House. All of which will support patient care in our local community.
Once our 20 Early Bird entries have gone we have places at discounted rates than purchasing an independent place.
5k: £20 to register and a guarantee that you will raise £100 or more for Dorothy House.
10k: £25 to enter and a guarantee that you will raise £150 or more for Dorothy House.
Half Marathon: £30 and a guarantee that you will raise £200 or more for Dorothy House.
If you need some tips to help with your fundraising target, our experienced team can give you extra support to help you reach that target.
