Somerset Primary Schools Chess Association, with support from Oakfield Academy Chess Club, will be hosting a fun and friendly juniors (U18) chess tournament on Saturday 7th February from 10:00-17:00 (U8- until 13:00)
This will be a “Swiss Tournament”. All players play in all the rounds, no-one gets knocked out. Players of all abilities welcome, but children should be capable of playing a full day’s chess. There will be separate age prizes for the best U18, U14, U11, U10, U9, U8 and U7 provided sufficient numbers participate in each group. Clocks will be used on all boards. Age groups may be merged. All moves to be played in 25 minutes for each player.
Entry Fee- £15, or £10 for current students/direct family members at Oakfield Academy
Payment: Oakfield Academy Students/Families via Arbor or methods below.

All contact information needs to be provided in case of emergency & will be confidentially stored and then deleted once the tournament is over.
Oakfield Academy Fundraisers will be selling soft drinks and snacks throughout the day, cash only, though please bring your own packed lunch.
Ample parking is available free of charge; we also encourage sustainable transport options where possible, such as the bus (D2 from Bath stop right outside), walking, cycling, or car sharing.
