Eri’s compositions are deeply lyrical and expressive blending elements of traditional Japanese music with contemporary jazz. Her music resonates with a profound sense of melody and emotion earning her recognition as one of the most original voices in jazz today.
Eri has performed alongside jazz legends such as William Parker Hamid Drake and Daniel Carter. Her albums including the critically acclaimed “Life” and “Cobalt Blue” showcase her innovative approach to jazz weaving together improvisation intricate harmonies and rhythmic complexity.
