From the Stage to the Page: A Poetry Workshop

Led by Portland poet and author of Blood, Skin, and Water, Camille T. McDaniel, From the Stage to the Page: A Poetry Workshop focuses on transmuting spoken word and slam poems onto the page. Join us in the Community Room at McMenamins Kennedy School for an evening of poetic experimentation. Practice playing with visual form and poetic devices, and learn tips for submitting to online and print publishers.

We'll be getting creative with the page, so bring your laptops, tablets, blank sheets of paper, pens and markers! Extra paper, marker, and pens will be available. All poets are welcome, whether you're a seasoned writer or are just starting out. Come connect with fellow poets and experient with your writing practice! Pay what you can between $15-$50.
