Join Micah Johnson, former Major League Baseball player turned artist and storyteller, for an evening centered on imagination, creativity, and possibility.
Micah is the creator of Aku, a character that began as an animated figure and grew into a widely recognized cultural phenomenon. Aku has appeared on the cover of TIME Magazine and inspired young readers and creators around the world.
The evening will include a short reading from Aku: Journey to Ibra, followed by a moderated conversation led by Brooke Harris Garad PhD, audience Q&A, and a book signing and meet & greet.
Books will be available for purchase at the venue.
