On March 31 the Ward Irish Music Archives will re-release (on their website) a show starring Tommy Makem and Liam Clancy that was originally broadcasted from New Hampshire television station WENH in 1977. Eleven episodes will be released for full public access.
At the From the Archives event, hosted by Rory Makem, the Ward Irish Music Archives will share footage from the show, including clips that featured many folk performers at the time, such as Jerry Holland and Alisdair McGillvray. Rory Makem will reminisce about the series and perform several songs.

The Ward Irish Music Archives (WIMA) collects, promotes, preserves, and disseminates Irish and Irish-American musics in all their forms. WIMA makes these cultural resources available to researchers, artists, and the general public now and into the future for the purposes of teaching, scholarship, and practice.
Established in 1992, WIMA houses one of the largest public collections of Irish music in America. About Rory Makem
A seasoned performer with over 32 years on the road, Rory has toured extensively with The Makem Brothers, and the Makem and Spain Brothers and for 17 years played guitar with his father, Tommy Makem. He has played sold-out venues, festivals, and theaters throughout the United States, Canada, England, Scotland and Ireland.
