From Sheep to Yarn, a four part series

Learn to make your own yarn, starting with raw wool from local sheep! You will learn the

entire process from shorn fleece, through washing, to carding and combing, and finally to

spinning your very own yarn to take home.

Note1: This will be four-session, 2 hour class each session. Tuesday evenings in May from 6-8pm (May 7, 14, 21, 28).

Class schedule:

First class: textiles room

First class/second class: access to hot water/hose from shop sink. Access to loading dock to dump water & lanolin onto gravel (cannot go down drain, will clog it)

Third & fourth classes: textile room

All participants must adhere to the Class Contract.
