From Scratch: Gnocchi Making Workshop

Gnocchi are perfect pillows of delicious goodness. They were the first thing I remember my Nonna teaching me to make as a little girl.

They can however be difficult to master. Once you know the tips and tricks and the sticking points to look out for, you'll be rolling gnocchi like a Nonna in no time!

In this hands on cooking workshop, you will have the opportunity to make your own gnocchi from scratch, including:

• Potato Gnocchi
  
• Ricotta Gnocchi
  
• Plus two different sauces to pair with your gnocchi
  

You will prepare your own gnocchi, with the sauces made in groups.

In addition to preparing the above items, we will also talk about the history of making gnocchi, the types of flour, potato and ricotta to use and how to freeze and store your gnocchi.

• Make your own gnocchi - two different types, and two different sauces
  
• Recipe cards for everything you make
  
• Detailed handout with additional types and sauces you can try (emailed after class)
  
• Apron to wear in class
  
• Small class numbers for individual attention
  
• Delicious pasta lunch that we will make together, served with insalata and Italian beverages
  
• PLUS - containers to take home your leftovers, and a goodie bag with your own gnocchi board, dough cutter and flour so you can continue your gnocchi practice at home!

  

If you've never made gnocchi before, this class will teach you everything you need to know and provide you with the equipment to continue your gnocchi journey at home!

DURATION: 2.5 - 3 Hours Approx

• Workshop is open to 18+ only
  
• This class is not suitable for coealics or those with a gluten intolerance, unfortunately this cannot be catered for with these recipes.
  
• Due to the high cost of running the workshop, refunds are not offered for change of mind or if you’re no longer able to attend. You may transfer your booking to another name - please contact to discuss.
  
• In the event that the workshop is rescheduled to a new date, and you are unable to attend the new date then a refund will be provided. If the workshop is cancelled by the organiser, a full refund will be provided.
