About this Event
In this transformative 3-hour workshop, women will learn how to effectively manage stress using the SCARF Model—an evidence-based framework that identifies five key social needs that, when threatened, can trigger stress. By understanding these needs and how they affect our responses, participants will gain tools to respond to life's most common stressors with confidence and calm. Through hands-on exercises, group discussions, and practical strategies like labeling stress triggers, deep breathing, and self-talk, participants will leave empowered to face challenges with a sense of control, clarity, and resilience.
What to Expect:
- Discover the SCARF Model: Learn how Status, Certainty, Autonomy, Relatedness, and Fairness impact our emotional well-being.
- Practical Stress Management: Gain tools for reducing stress and reclaiming control using labeling techniques and calming exercises.
- Interactive Exercises: Practice real-life stress scenarios with group discussions and role-playing to master these strategies.
- Personal Action Plan: Leave with an actionable roadmap to navigate your specific stressors with confidence.
- Supportive Community: Connect with like-minded women and share experiences in a safe, empowering environment.
