Your guide to transforming a passion-driven operation into a disciplined, profitable, sustainable business — by Tucson local business owner
About this Event

About the Facilitator

From Hope to Profit guides participants through the critical shift from hobby-style operations to serious business ownership—replacing hope, hustle, and fear-based decision-making with structure, systems, and grounded leadership. Drawing on real-world examples and lived experience, this session helps owners understand how demand, pricing, documentation, financial tracking, and boundaries directly impact profitability, stability, and long-term survival.

Participants will gain:

  • Clarity on whether their business is built on demand or personal passion
  • Tools to identify and eliminate “hobby behavior” that limits growth
  • A practical understanding of how structure, systems, and policies drive profit
  • Insight into pricing, boundaries, and professionalism that increase credibility
  • A leadership mindset that supports team stability, retention, and scalability
  • A framework for using failure as information—not a setback

About the Facilitator

Ronnie Hanley is a Tucson-based entrepreneur and owner of multiple successful pet-care businesses, including a USDA-certified national pet transport service. After experiencing business failure and bankruptcy early in her career, she rebuilt her operations with discipline, structure, and intention—resulting in strong profit margins, debt-free growth, high employee retention, and sustainable leadership practices. Ronnie teaches from lived experience, not theory, offering business owners an honest, practical roadmap for building stability, profitability, and long-term success by truly taking themselves seriously.
