It’s been a challenging year for federal professionals — RIFs, hiring freezes, shifting mandates, and now the shutdown. I’ve been hearing from so many people who are asking what’s next and how to regain a sense of control over their work and future. From Fed to Founder was designed for exactly that moment. This half-day, in-person workshop in Bethesda, MD (Metro accessible) on Wednesday, November 13 offers a space to explore what working for yourself could look like — whether that means freelancing on the side, launching a small business, or simply learning how your skills translate beyond government.
I’ll be co-leading with Ofri Brener, a business strategist and educator who helps entrepreneurs and mission-driven organizations grow with purpose. Together we’ll create a supportive, practical environment where participants can connect, brainstorm, and get personalized feedback on their ideas.
We’ve worked to keep the cost affordable at $159 (early-bird rate through October 31), with breakfast and lunch provided at no extra cost. Scholarships are available, and space is limited to keep the experience small and hands-on.
