Learn how you can feel more comfortable in yoga asanas (postures). If you’re new to yoga practice, perhaps you’re not sure about whether you’re in alignment for Downward Dog, Warrior, or other commonly practiced postures? Then this workshop is for you! Also for a more advanced practitioner or yoga teachers, learn new tips and cues from Heather’s toolbox of over 20 years of teaching for how you can fully embody a pose. Feel free to come with all of your yoga questions. Use this time as a ‘clinic’ to feel more at ease in a yoga class, or your own self practice.This workshop will also consider the greater meanings behind the poses. What do these postures represent? We’ll explore some Yoga Mythology and symbolism; how we can use the physical postures of yoga along with their stories for self-examination, reflection, and growth both on and off the mat.
