Hear from two experts in the DEI sector: Tony Moraga, SVP Head of D&I Workforce and Workplace at PNC Bank, and Tony Gladney, VP of DE&I at MGM Resorts International. They will discuss best practices for fostering growth and supercharging your Employee Resource Groups. The evening will also feature a segment on Latina Equal Pay Day, presented by Diana Rivera, CPA at Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and VP of ALPFA Las Vegas, along with Maggie Leal, CPA and Senior Analyst at Southwest Gas and Treasurer of ALPFA Las Vegas. Jonathan Serafin Quinones, Audit & Assurance Senior, Deloitte, and ALPFA Las Vegas President, will moderate the event.
Appetizers and refreshments will be included. An open bar will be set up until 6:30 p.m., after which it will be a cash bar.

Tony Moraga is responsible for the team dedicated to driving employee engagement, creating development opportunities, building inclusive leadership skills, and promoting community involvement for PNC’s 55,000+ employees. He oversees the 129 chapters of PNC’s 13 distinct Employee Business Resource Groups, enterprise peer-to-peer mentoring program, and strategic councils at the corporate level and by line of business. Before joining the bank in 2014, Moraga held positions with StartOut, the San Francisco LGBT Community Center, and the Golden Gate Business Association focused on supporting LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs in scaling their business ventures through networking, education, and access to capital. Moraga earned a master’s with distinction in Social Business and Entrepreneurship from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a bachelor’s in Business Administration from California State University Los Angeles. He holds certificates in Corporate Citizenship and Diversity & Inclusion from Boston College and Cornell University, respectively, and volunteers with several community organizations.
Diana Rivera was born and raised in Sonora, Mexico, before moving to the United States at the age of 11. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Nevada with extensive accounting experience. Currently, Diana serves as an inspector in the Division of Registrations and Inspections (DRI) at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). In this role, she conducts comprehensive inspections of registered public accounting firms, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
Prior to this position, Diana was an Assurance Manager with Ernst & Young, LLP. In this role, she gained experience auditing various private and publicly traded companies in the gaming and hospitality industry.
Diana is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusiveness initiatives and has held various leadership roles in organizations supporting these efforts since an early age. Most recently, she served as the chapter leader for Ernst & Young’s Latinx Professional Network in Las Vegas, an employee resource group providing opportunities for professionals from diverse backgrounds to form a community, create mentoring relationships, and strengthen their leadership skills.
Diana is the mother of a two year old and enjoys traveling, dancing, listening to podcasts, and working on arts and crafts in her spare time.
In December 2022, Diana joined the ALPFA Las Vegas Board of Directors and currently serves as Vice President. In this role, she supports the President in overseeing strategic initiatives, ensuring effective governance, and fostering strong relationships.
Magali (“Maggie”) Leal is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Nevada and is currently a Senior Analyst in the External Financial Reporting group at Southwest Gas Corporation, focused on administering the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance program and also chairs the company’s Hispanic and Latin American employee resource group “Adelante”. She launched her career at Ernst and Young, LLP (“EY”) in the Assurance practice, where she spent five years.
She was first introduced to ALPFA through EY’s Latino Network, an employee resource group, that offered her the opportunity to attend the ALPFA National Convention in 2018. The ALPFA National Convention experience motivated her to join the ALPFA Las Vegas chapter board in 2020 as Director of Membership, and she now serves as Treasurer. Her goal is to support ALPFA’s mission of empowering and developing Latino men and women into leaders of character. Her commitment to the community has led her to volunteer with local organizations like Junior Achievement.
Her parents immigrated from Durango, Mexico and settled in Las Vegas with her two brothers and sister. Maggie was raised in Las Vegas and holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in accounting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Outside of work and community involvement, Maggie enjoys spending quality time with her family, which includes her husband and son. She also enjoys soccer, both as a spectator and a player.
