About this Event
The Boston Shambhala Center is delighted to offer an afternoon talk and practice with Lama Rod Owens.
For those who have the willingness to allow our hearts to break open, disrupt systems of violence, and let deep, authentic care guide our actions instead of fear and hate, Lama Rod’s teachings are a clarion call for becoming a spiritual warrior—a human refreshed, serving a vision of a world shaped by love.
Based on his most recent book, , Lama Rod offers a model of liberated spiritual practice, embodied warriorship in a language that exists for our times. There’s no liberation without actually leaning forward and looking at the things that we habitually run away from, in order to see things as they really are, not as we have imagined them. His teachings offer fresh inspiration about ways we can bring healing to our broken hearts and beautiful, broken world.
