? CAST ANNOUNCEMENT ?We're delighted to announce the cast of Frognal & Fox - A Life in Song, a new play by Fiona Ellis and directed by Cinzia Hardy.
The hugely talented Jane Holman and Zoe Lambert will bring to life the roles of Margaret Frognal (Jane) and Adele Fox (Zoe), two fading performers, as they showcase their singing and playing talents accompanied by their bemused and cynical pianist. Beneath the theatrical camaraderie lurks a tension, but what is it and will it be resolved?
Presented by Cinzia Hardy, in association with CaroleW Productions, this is your chance to dive into a world full of glamour, optimism, rivalry and acceptance.
Featuring favourite songs from stage and screen by songwriters such as Cole Porter, the Gershwins, Stephen Sondheim and Noel Coward, and lesser-known numbers, this raucous, cabaret-style show is not to be missed.
Frognal & Fox will open at Alnwick Playhouse on Thursday 30 & Friday 31 May before touring the North East & Cumbria until Friday 28 June.
