Could you be a lifeline this winter?
As colder months arrive, many older people in Oldham face loneliness and isolation. Our Befriending Service connects them with volunteers who offer a friendly chat, a visit, or even a coffee out.
Volunteering as a befriender takes just an hour or two a week – but it makes a world of difference.

It’s rewarding, uplifting, and a chance to brighten someone’s day (and your own!).
We have a waiting list of older people who need a friend.
