Join us at Poppin’ Off Pop Culture Gifts & More as we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and celebrate Black identity, Black culture, and the ongoing fight for justice and equality through creativity, reflection, and community.
Dr. King’s work was rooted in the lived experiences of Black Americans and driven by a vision of dignity, equity, and liberation. This MLK Day, we invite our community to come together to create friendship bracelets that symbolize unity, resistance, hope, and pride, while uplifting the culture, voices, and contributions that shaped the Civil Rights Movement and continue to shape our world today.
This event is a space to reflect on the values Dr. King championed, including nonviolence, collective action, service, and love for one another, while also honoring the richness of Black history and culture beyond a single day.
This is a family-friendly, all-ages event, open to anyone who wants to create, connect, and celebrate community with intention.
