Friendsgiving Live (FGL) is the largest Friendsgiving event in the world. It is the only women’s empowerment gathering during the holidays designed to inspire women to give.
This women-only event honors every stage of life—resilience, forgiveness, strength, and celebration—welcoming women from all walks of life.
Founded by Kareen Mills in 2017, FGL was born out of a deep commitment to community, fellowship, and giving back.
• In 2022, FGL raised more than $5,000 for the grassroots nonprofit Restored and Revived.
• In 2023, the impact expanded, raising well over five figures for local nonprofits. Special thanks to Lisa and Jason Houser, along with all sponsors and attendees, for their generosity.
A portion of sponsorship funds continues to support local nonprofits selected by Kareen throughout the year. In addition, $8 from every ticket sold helps fund the FGL Secret Santa Project in Liloan, Cebu, Philippines—Kareen’s hometown—providing Christmas dinners for families in need.
As a one of 4 Directors of Couve100, Kareen remains deeply engaged with grassroots organizations, offering both financial support and hands-on aid.
Friendsgiving Live is not just an event; it was a moment that became a movement that empowers women and strengthens communities through collective generosity and the continued support of its attendees, past and present.
Our vision of giving $100 million by 2040 as a movement is picking up great momentum and we invite you to join in.
