King Park Earth Day Clean Up
Join Us for the Friends of the Waterfront 26th Annual King Park Earth Day Cleanup!
Friends of the Waterfront (FOW), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has been dedicated to preserving public access to Newport’s waterfront since 1982. As part of our commitment to the community and environment, we invite you to participate in our annual Earth Day cleanup at King Park.
📅 Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025
📍 Location: King Park, Newport, RI (Beach Pavilion)
🕘 Time: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
☕ Coffee, donuts, and refreshments will be provided.
We’ll spend about two hours cleaning up litter along the shoreline and park areas using provided gloves, trash grabbers, and bags. Volunteers of all ages are welcome—stay as long as you like! Your efforts will help beautify the park and protect the harbor’s natural habitat. Every helping hand makes a difference!
Dress appropriately for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle.
